We begin our year with Advent and Christmas, focussing on Jesus being born, and work our way through Jesus’ life, with the various liturgical seasons. One way we recognise a new year in January is by making New Year Resolutions. Today, we are going to be making our own ‘New Year’ resolutions to mark the beginning of the new year for the Church. In forms, talk in pairs about what your new year resolution could be personally and then decide as a whole form what could be your forms new year resolution. This could be to improve your forms attendance, it could be to increase your achievement points or it could be to read 50 books between everyone. It can be anything you think you need to do as a form to be better people.
