DAY 1
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
This week as well as celebrating the Joy of Easter, we are celebrating the life of Pope Francis. Sadly, Pope Francis passed away on Monday after serving as Pope for 12 years. Instead of doing our normal Form Time Prayer, we will use this time to remember Him.
In the Chapel, we want to create a memorial display for Pope Francis. In your forms, on a piece of paper, write down any prayers that you have for Pope Francis or for the Church. This could be something like ‘May Pope Francis, your faithful servant, who led your Church with love and humility, rest in your peace.’
Once you have written on these pieces of paper, bring them to the Chaplaincy office so we can start to create a display in Pope Francis’ memory.
Please spend a few moments in silence, remembering Pope Francis before saying the below prayer altogether.
As form time prayer comes to an end, we give for thanks for the life of Pope Francis
O God, immortal shepherd of souls,
Amen
look on your people’s prayers
and grant that your servant Pope Francis,
who presided over your Church in charity,
may, with the flock entrusted to his care,
receive from your mercy
the reward of a faithful servant.
This we ask through Christ our Lord.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
DAY 2 – What’s in the Word?
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
This week is the 1st week of Eastertide where we look at the word ALLELUIA.

This week, we are in LENT, which means our liturgical colour is what? (Clue: This is the colour of our computer background) Tick the correct colour on your sheet.
The Word of the Week this week is ALLELUIA. Make sure this is written on the sheet and your form is written in the form box.

Answer the following questions in pairs or as a form:
Where might God be inviting you to bring joy or light, like an Alleluia, into the world?
If Alleluia were a colour, a song, or a symbol, what would it be and why?
As form time prayer comes to an end, we continue to pray for Pope Francis…
Our Father who art in heaven,
Amen
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
DAY 3 – GOD’S MESSAGE FOR US
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
This week we are going to explore Scripture from the Gospel of Luke.
“But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”’’
Luke 24:1-7
Answer the following questions in pairs or as a form:
Where do you see the first spark of “Alleluia” in this story?
This moment is a huge turning point in the Bible. How is it different from other miracles Jesus performed?

Make sure you put the scripture reference (Luke 24:1-7) in the scripture box on your sheet.
Write your form’s thoughts about the above in the message box.

As form time prayer comes to an end, we pray for a deeper understanding of the teachings of the Bible. With all these things in our mind, we pray together, with Our Lady of Lourdes…
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
Amen
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
DAY 4 – THE CELEBRATION
We are now going to take part in our Celebration of the Word, altogether, to end this week. Before we begin, we are going to take some time to settle down in a moment of silence.
We begin this celebration of the word with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
This week our word of the week is Alleluia
We are alsocelebrating the first week of Eastertide so our liturgical colour is…
