Our scripture this week comes from St Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. The Letter to the Ephesians is one of the writings in the New Testament, traditionally attributed to St. Paul. It was likely written around 60–62 AD while Paul was in prison. The letter was addressed to the Christian community in Ephesus, a major city in ancient Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). In this letter, Paul encourages believers to live in unity and love as members of the Body of Christ. He reminds them that through Jesus, all people, no matter their background, are included in God’s family and called to live with faith, peace, and compassion.
