DAY 1 – WHAT’S IN THE WORD?
Before we begin this form time prayer, let’s take a moment to light our candle and spend some time in silence thinking about all the things that on our hearts and minds today…
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
This week, our Word of the Week is ROSARY. Watch the video below with our special guest to find out more.

This week, we are in ORDINARY TIME, which means our liturgical colour is what? (Clue: This is the colour of our computer background) Tick the correct colour on your sheet.
The Word of the Week this week is ROSARY. Make sure this is written on the sheet and your form is written in the form box.

Answer the following questions in pairs or as a form:
The Rosary is described as a way of “walking with Mary through Jesus’ life.” How might praying it help you grow closer to Jesus?
Mary is called the “Mother of the Church.” What does it mean to you to know that Mary prays with and for us?
As form time prayer comes to an end, we pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire us as we pray together
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
Amen
And kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you will renew the face of the earth.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
DAY 2 – GOD’S MESSAGE FOR US
Before we begin this form time prayer, let’s take a moment to light our candle and spend some time in silence thinking about all the things that on our hearts and minds today…
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
The Gospel of Luke is one of the four Gospels in the New Testament. It was written around 70-90 AD by Luke, who was a doctor and a companion of St. Paul. Luke wasn’t one of the original twelve apostles, but he carefully gathered stories and eyewitness accounts about Jesus’ life, teachings, death, and resurrection.
‘He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.’
Luke 17:6
Answer the following questions in pairs or as a form:
Jesus says even a tiny bit of faith can do amazing things. What does this tell you about how God sees your faith, even if it feels small?
Why do you think Jesus chose a mustard seed, something so tiny, to explain faith?

Make sure you put the scripture reference (LUKE 17:6) in the scripture box on your sheet.
Write your form’s thoughts about the above in the message box.

As form time prayer comes to an end, we pray for a deeper understanding of the teachings of the Bible. With all these things in our mind, we pray together, with Our Lady of Lourdes…
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
Amen
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
DAY 3 – OUR RESPONSE TO GOD’S MESSAGE
Before we begin this form time prayer, let’s take a moment to light our candle and spend some time in silence thinking about all the things that on our hearts and minds today…
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Let’s remind ourselves of our scripture:
‘He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.’
Luke 17:6
This week, as we’ve entered the month of the Holy Rosary, we’re invited to take time out to stop and think and to walk with Mary through the life of Jesus. We share our prayers with Mary as a way of lightening our load and having someone to be there with us and for us.
On Friday 10th October we will be sharing in World Mental Health Day and bringing together our needs and prayers and offering them to God, through the intercession of Our Lady.
* Think about the people in your life who support you.
* Think about how you are sometimes the person who supports others.
* Think about the ways that your voice is heard by others and how you reach out for the help of others.
Our scripture this week reminds us that the smallest seed we plant, the mustard seed, can grow into the largest of trees, where people and animals come to seek shelter. Every small act of kindness can grow into something great. Think about the tiny seeds of kindness you can plant to support the mental health of others about the times you need the kindness and support of others too.
With this in mind, spend a few minutes completing this Rosary response:

Let us pray…
Lord, help us to be people who know when to reach out to others, to offer or to seek support.
Amen
Remind us, through the time we spend with Our Lady in prayer, that we can always speak to you and that you will always be a place for us to find comfort and shelter.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
DAY 4 – OUR MISSION
Before we begin this form time prayer, let’s take a moment to light our candle and spend some time in silence thinking about all the things that on our hearts and minds today…
We begin this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Thinking about all that we have discussed about the word of the week and our scripture this week, it is time to set our MISSION. The mission should be our way of trying to work as individuals or as a community (whichever you choose), so that we can share the message from this week with the wider community.
‘He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.’
Luke 17:6

Discuss in your form what mission you want to set for yourselves on the theme of ROSARY and then write it on the form time prayer sheet.
Example
Our mission for the theme is to pray a decade of the Rosary using your new Rosary ring.
As form time prayer comes to an end, we pray for help to complete our mission. With all this in mind, we pray together…
Glory be to the Father
Amen
and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning
is now, and ever shall be
world without end.
We end this form time prayer with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
DAY 5 – THE CELEBRATION
Please complete the World Mental Health Day task and incorporate this into your prayer time, once it is ready.
Before we begin this form time prayer, let’s take a moment to light our candle and spend some time in silence thinking about all the things that on our hearts and minds today…
Using everything we have added to our sheet this week, we are now going to take part in our Celebration of the Word, altogether, to end this week.
We begin this Celebration of the Word with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
This week our word of the week is…
We are also in the 27th week of ordinary time so our liturgical colour is…
