During the October half-term holiday, All Saints’ was in the very fortunate position of being able to send 4 sixth-form students to Rome and the Vatican City on pilgrimage to represent CAFOD and our school at the Jubilee of Education. We would like to thank CAFOD, the Catenians and the parish for supporting us on this wonderful journey!
‘During the last week of half-term, myself and other sixth formers, along with our chaplains were given an amazing opportunity to embark on a pilgrimage to Rome and the Vatican City. Whilst there, we worked with CAFOD: representing the nation for the Jubilee of Educators, attending an audience with Pope Leo, and celebrating mass for the Solemnity of All Saints – where St. John Henry Newman was declared a doctor of the Church. We also did some sightseeing, visiting the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, and the colosseum. We had an amazing time representing All Saints, the Our Lady of Lourdes CMAT and CAFOD; what an incredible experience to be a part of!’ – Natalie, Yr12
