As we enter the beautiful season of Advent, the Chaplaincy team has been busy helping our school prepare for the great celebration of Christmas. This period is a vital time of hopeful waiting and spiritual readiness for the arrival of Christ.
To foster this spirit, our Chaplaincy team has led Celebrations of the Word during tutor time for all year groups, focusing on the Advent themes of hope, peace, joy, and love, as we look toward the Nativity. Furthermore, every RE class has had a dedicated session in the school chapel, allowing students quiet time for prayer and contemplation in preparation for the Lord’s birth.
A key part of our journey has also included the Sacrament of Reconciliation, offering students and staff an opportunity to cleanse their hearts and start the path toward Christmas anew. We look forward to continuing this sacred time of preparation in our last week of term!
