You may want to pray for something that is going on in the news or in our local community at the minute. When writing the prayers, you may want to use the scripture and the word of the week (FAITH) to inspire you. Using the sentence starters below, create some prayers of intercession.

Thinking about all that we have discussed about the word of the week, our scripture this week and the prayers from yesterday, it is time to set our MISSION. The mission should be our way of trying to work as individuals or as a community (whichever you choose), so that we can share the message from this week with the wider community.

If the word of the week this week was Almsgiving, your mission could be to bring in as much food as possible for the food bank within your form. Discuss in your form what mission you want to set for yourselves on the theme of FAITH and then write it on the form time prayer sheet.
