This week, we will pray prayers of thanksgiving, often called ‘Thank You Prayers’ which help us to appreciate and give thanks to God for all the blessings we have received from him.
Thank you prayers aren’t prayed in Mass, as the Eucharist (Holy Communion) is the Thanksgiving, but they are frequently prayed in Celebrations of the Word and in spontaneous prayer, in order for us to show our appreciation of the blessings God’s given to us and, often, through the people on Earth he calls to provide for us.
Think today about the things you have to be thankful for, linked to the Word of the Week, UNDERSTANDING, and to anything happening in the world or in your lives at the moment.
You may want to split off in groups and use your mini whiteboards to come up with ideas. Here are a couple of examples:

Discuss in your form what mission you want to set for yourselves on the theme of UNDERSTANDING and then write it on the form time prayer sheet.
